Goals
The main purpose of the 20 bounty hunter missions is to find and make contact with a character at the end of the level, such as Qui-Gon Jinn or a rebel trooper. Along the way, you have to fight through several enemies or unlock doors and rooms. You must use the correct bounty hunter in certain situations ,as one bounty hunter alone is not enough to complete all of the challenges.
Unlock
You don't have access to the bounty hunter missions when you start a new game. First, you must unlock the six bounty hunter characters: Boba Fett, IG-88, 4-LOM, Dengar, Greedo and Bossk. After you unlock these characters, travel to the cantina and purchase them. This opens up the mission room owned by Jabba the Hutt located outside the cantina. Go here to play the 20 challenges using the bounty hunter characters.
Character Abilities
The six bounty hunters have various abilities and some special advantages over the others. Each uses a blaster of varying power levels and the ability to throw thermal detonators, as well as bounty hunter access. Boba Fett has the unique ability to hover, using his jetpack to do so when you press the "A" button. The droids IG-88 and 4-LOM have astromech access, which lets them access restricted areas using droid panels when you press the "Z" button near them.
Rewards
Each of the 20 bounty hunter challenges have three-minute timers. When you complete any of the missions for the first time, you'll receive a golden brick, which counts toward your game's completion percentage, and 100,000 studs -- the game's currency. The faster you complete these missions also counts towards a stud bonus. The faster you complete a mission, the better the reward you will receive as part of the reward.
