What Is the Heart on GTA IV for PS3?

The heart of Liberty City -- the fictional city of "Grand Theft Auto IV" for the PS3 -- is literally a bleeding, beating heart which can be located inside the Statue of Happiness located on Happiness Island. To reach the island, you will have to take flight in a helicopter. Although seeing the heart doesn't help you beat the game, it is a cool Easter egg within the game.

Transportation
- Located inside the Statue of Happiness is the heart of Liberty City. The Statue of Happiness -- much like the Statue of Liberty -- is surrounded by water. To reach the Statue of Happiness -- and the heart that rests inside -- you must obtain a helicopter. You can either steal a helicopter from the airport or spawn one using a cheat code. During game play, pull out Niko's cellphone and dial in the number 359-555-0100 and the Annihilator helicopter will appear, which you can then fly to the Statue of Happiness.
Reaching The Statue
- Once you have obtained your helicopter, fly to the base of the Statue of Happiness. Hover above the base and jump out of the helicopter so that you land on the base. There should be four doors near you. One of the doors is marked with a placard that reads: "No Hidden Content Through Here." Ignore this placard and walk through the door. Inside, you will find a ladder. Climb this ladder and you will reach the beating heart within the Statue of Happiness. The heart is rather large and cannot be taken, but you can shoot it which will cause blood to fly out from it.
Other Helicopter Options
- There are alternative ways of obtaining a helicopter in "GTA IV" for the PlayStation 3. One way is to kill 200 pigeons within the game. Pigeons can be killed in a variety of ways and are scattered all around the city. Once 200 pigeons have been destroyed, the Annihilator helicopter will be unlocked. You can also find the Annihilator helicopter parked on the helipads on top of the LCPD stations. You can also spawn the Buzzard helicopter by taking out Niko's cellphone and dialing 359-555-2899.
The T-Shirt
- Once you have landed on Happiness Island -- where the Statue of Happiness is located -- walk to the second level. On this level, you will find a door that doesn't open, but you can walk right through it. After you walk through it, the game will pause for a moment to load. When it is done loading, Niko will walk out of the door wearing a new T-shirt with a picture of the Statue of Happiness on it. Combine this with looking at the heart and you will make the most of Happiness Island.
