How Do I Get FSU Black Helmets in NCAA 11?

Released for the PS3 game console in 2010, "NCAA Football '11" features realistic touches on everything from individual team play styles to stadiums and mascots. However, with the number of alternate uniforms for all 120 teams represented in the game, some options are overlooked. Anticipating fans' desire to build their teams however they see fit, EA sports has a web-based application -- TeamBuilder -- that allows you to customize every detail, including outfitting the Florida State University Seminoles with special black helmets. Players can then download the team to their console for use in the game.

  Log into your EA Sports TeamBuilder account.

  Click on "Create New Team."

  Click "Logo," then scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Choose Existing." Scroll through to "Florida State University" and select it.

  Click "Uniform," then choose "Edit Helmet." Select "Choose Existing" then enter "Florida State" in the search bar.

  Choose "Florida State -- '09 Nike Pro Combat" from the pop-up menu to outfit your team with the special edition all-black helmets.

  Select "General" and enter a name you can search for later (i.e., "FSU Black Helmet"). Then select "Save School."

  Start a game of "NCAA Football '11" on your console. Select "TeamBuilder" from the main menu, then enter the name of your team in the search bar.

  Choose your team and select "Download" to save it to your console. This team will now be playable.
