Get Shotgun
Though some of the game's automatic guns may be more appealing, the shotgun is an effective weapon for killing the Nazi zombies. It's useful because you can fire it easily in close quarters and it doesn't require 100 percent accuracy, as it the case with a rifle. The game's zombies often move unpredictably, making them challenging to hit, especially as the game advances. A head shot with the shotgun will stop them quickly.
Avoid Flamethrower
In the main "Call of Duty: World at War" game, getting the flamethrower is exciting because it's the first time it appears in the "Call of Duty" franchise. It's useful in trench warfare, but you'll soon realize it's not ideal in large, open areas. The same is true in the "Nazi Zombies" game. The flamethrower's limited range makes it useless against zombies until they get close to you, but by then, you may be smothered in them. Avoid the temptation of this weapon if you want to survive.
Keep Zombie Alive
When you enter a new level, you'll probably be anxious to kill every zombie. While this is the purpose of the game, doing so quickly will also prevent you from exploring the level, picking up perks and gathering points. Kill every zombie you see, but leave one alive. An effective tip is to throw a grenade at the zombie to blow off its legs. This way, it won't be able to catch you very quickly, affording you time to explore the level.
Use Mystery Box
Throughout the game, you'll see various weapons for sale on the walls. When you come across a mystery box, however, access it to see if you can get a desirable weapon. With the mystery box, you have the chance of getting not only a weapon you can't find on a wall, but also at a lower cost than the wall-mounted choices. Several effective weapons are available in the mystery box.
