How to Validate a Custom Hole in Planet Mini Golf

Play on any of the 144 included miniature golf holes or create your own custom hole using the design tools in "Planet Minigolf" for the PlayStation 3. Upload your custom holes for other players to play through and play on holes designed by others as part of the online features for the game. Before you can upload custom holes, creators must first validate them to make sure they are playable and free of major errors.

Instructions

  Create your custom hole using whichever locales and pieces you want for the hole. Include a tee and pin for the hole to be playable.

  Press the "Start" button on your PS3 controller to pull up the pause menu. Press the down arrow on your controller until "Test Mode" is highlighted. Press "X" to open test mode and play through your custom hole.

  Play the hole to make sure the hole doesn't contain any errors. Continue through the hole until you successfully make the ball into the hole.

  Return to edit mode if you discover any faults with your custom hole while testing it. Edit any errors that make the hole unplayable. Make any other adjustments you want to the hole before saving it.

  Return to "Test Mode" after any edits to successfully play through the hole to validate it. Save your custom hole under the name you want to use. Return to the "My Courses" menu and select "Publish Hole" to upload it.
