How to Get Unbound for Your Clan Tag in Modern Warfare 2 for PS3

In the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" game, players are able to create four-character clan tags to go in front of their names. Once a clan tag has been enabled, the only way to get unbound from it is to go into the game settings and delete it. You can do this regardless of the platform you are using, whether it is PC, Xbox 360 or PS3. If you are using the PS3, getting your clan tag unbound requires the game disc.

Instructions

  Insert the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" game disc into your PS3 console and initialize the game, if it does not do so automatically.

  Select "Multiplayer" from the main menu and then select "Live."

  Choose the "Callsign &Killstreaks" option from the Live menu and then choose "Clan Tag."

  Press the square button on your PS3 controller to delete the current clan tag and then press the "Start" button to save your changes. Your clan tag is now unbound. Repeat Step 3 to add a new clan tag if desired.
