How to Dunk a Basketball on NBA 2k10

"NBA 2K10" for the Sony PlayStation 2 features updated rosters, new signature moves for players and several online play options. This 2009 title also includes new dunks and dunk animations. You should use a player known for his ability to throw down to boost your chances of successfully performing the shortest shot in basketball. You will need to press a few buttons while heading toward the basket to pull off the move.

     Pass the ball to a player with a higher dunk rating using the "X" button. (You can view ratings on the player rosters.) This will increase the chances of the player dunking when near the basket.

     Hold down the "R2" turbo button to make the player charge toward the basket.

     Press "Up" on the right analog stick when near the basket.

   • 4

     Dunk on putbacks near the rim by pressing "R2" and the "Triangle" button.
