How to Edit Patches for 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' for PlayStation 3

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is the sixth entry in the "Call of Duty" franchise, and it is also the second entry in the "Modern Warfare" sub-series. Since its initial release in November 2009, several game patches have been released that improve the game's playability and fix bugs. Once a patch is installed, the only edit you can do is to delete it. To delete a patch on your PS3, go into the game data.

     Turn on your PS3 console and a controller, then scroll over to the "Games" menu.

     Select the "Game Utility" and scroll down to "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." Select it and then select the desired patch.

     Choose the "Delete" option from the menu, then select "Yes" to confirm the operation. The "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" patch will now be deleted from your PS3 console.
