How to Install Dead Space on a PS3 Slim

In "Dead Space," a third-person shooter video game, players play as Isaac Clarke. Clarke, an engineer, fights his way through a ship full of monsters. Weapons must be improvised from mining tools, such as a rotary saw and plasma cutter. "Dead Space" can be purchased in stores, online or through the PlayStation Store and installed on the PlayStation 3 or PS3 Slim gaming console two different ways.

Instructions

Install With Disc

  Purchase a hard copy of "Dead Space" and place the disc into the PS3 slim console.

  Press the right arrow button on the PS3 controller to scroll over to "Game."

  Scroll down to "Dead Space" and press the "X" button to install and start the game.
Install Without Disc

  Purchase "Dead Space" from the PlayStation store by scrolling to "PlayStation Store" and pressing the "X" button on the controller.

  Locate "Dead Space" and select the "Add to Cart" option.

  Select "Proceed to Checkout" and complete the purchase.

  Choose "Download" and the game will be installed on the PS3 slim.
