How to Kill Vamp in MGS4

Vamp originally appeared in "Metal Gear Solid 2," where he viciously killed the little sister of Snake's partner, Otacon. Now, in "Metal Gear Solid 4," Vamp returns, and Snake is ready to get his revenge. Even if you drain Vamp's health completely, the man is immortal and regenerates his health at will. Fortunately, a scientist named Naomi gave you a syringe filled with a nanomachine suppressor. When you inject Vamp with the suppressor, he becomes mortal.

Instructions

- 1
  Equip any fast-firing gun when the battle begins, such as the Mk. II pistol. Vamp starts to chase you, but walks slowly, so back up and shoot him in the head.

  Run away or dive roll when Vamp gets close enough to attack you. If you react too slowly, he knocks you down and takes away some of your health.

  Continue firing at Vamp's head. He starts to run after you. As before, dodge his attack just as he is about to strike you.

  Follow Vamp when he starts to jump around the room. When he lands and starts throwing knives at you, dodge the knives and shoot him. When Vamp's health meter is empty, he crouches down and starts to regenerate himself.

  Pause the game and equip the syringe. Run over to Vamp and hold him down. Press the "Triangle" button to inject Vamp with the nanomachine suppressor. When you do this, the fight ends as your ally, Raiden, appears to finish Vamp off permanently.
