Unlocking Algonquin
Begin the game by completing missions for Roman Bellic. Finish the missions "It's Your Call," "Three's a Crowd," "Bleed Out," "Easy Fare" and "Jamaican Heat."
Locate Vladimir Glebov at his bar in Hove Beach. Finish the missions "Bull in a China Shop," "Hung Out to Dry," "Clean Getaway" and "Ivan the Not So Terrible." Return to Roman Bellic and complete the missions "Uncle Vlad" and "Crime and Punishment."
Speak with Mikhail Faustin at his mansion in Beachgate. Finish the missions "Do You Have Protection?," "Final Destination" and "No Love Lost." Complete Roman Bellic's "Logging On," then return to Faustin for "Rigged to Blow."
Head to Schottler to pick up Little Jacob's missions "Concrete Jungle" and "Shadow," then meet Dimitri Rascalov at Firefly Island. Finish "The Master and the Molotov" and "Russian Revolution."
Call Roman Bellic and finish his "Roman's Sorrow" mission. This will open Manny Escuela's missions at the Community Center. Finish "Escuela of the Streets" and "Street Sweeper."
Locate Elizabeta Torres in Fortside and complete her missions "Luck of the Irish" and "Blow Your Cover." This will open the central portion of the map, permitting access to Algonquin, Colony Island and Happiness Island.
Unlocking Alderney
Find Brucie Kibbutz at his car remodeling shop in East Hook. Complete his missions "Search and Delete," "Easy as Can Be" and "Out of the Closet."
Return to Manny Escuela and finish the mission "The Puerto Rican Connection." This will allow you to continue missions for Elizabeta Torres. Complete her missions "The Snow Storm" and "Have a Heart."
Head to Castle Gardens and speak with your new mystery contact, Francis McReary. Finish "Call and Collect" and you will receive a call from Packie McReary. Complete Packie's missions "Harboring a Grudge," "Waste Not Want Knots" and "Three Leaf Clover" to unlock Alderney, the westernmost island.
