How to Get Unlimited Credits on GT5 for the PS3

Gran Turismo 5", or GT5, is a racing simulator game for the PlayStation 3. In the career mode, you can take part in various classes of races that award you with credits. Credits can then be used to buy new cars and upgrade your current cars. While there is no cheat code to get unlimited credits, there are several repetitive ways to build up your credits stockpile. One of the most efficient is the 1944 birthday trick, which gifts you with a Volkswagen Kubelwagen typ82 1944 worth 73,500 credits.

Instructions

  Start up your PS3 and select "Create New User" from the User tab.

  Create a new account and sign up for the PlayStation Network. Enter an email address, name, address and city.

  Enter the birthday for the account as the current date with 1944 as the year.

  Scroll to the Friends tab, select "Add a Friend" and send a friend request to your main PlayStation Network (PSN) account.

  Log in to your main PSN account and accept the friend request from the new account.

  Log back in to the new account and start "Gran Turismo 5."

  Start a new game in GT Mode. You will be gifted with five Museum Cards as well as a ticket for the Volkswagen Kubelwagen typ82 1944.

  Go to the Community section, select your main PSN account and gift the Volkswagen Kubelwagen typ82 1944.

  Exit "GT5" and log into your main PSN account.

  Start up "GT5," load GT Mode and sell the Volkswagen Kubelwagen typ82 1944.

  Repeat this process as many times as you like, earning 73,500 credits each time you do it.
