How to Start a Dedicated Co-Op Campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops

"Call of Duty: Black Ops" is the seventh title in the popular series and was originally released on all major game consoles at the end of 2010. Early reports from the game developer claimed there would be a Co-Op-enabled campaign available on the game (like other first-person shooters in the "Halo" and "Gears of War" series) -- a so-called "Dedicated Co-Op," but this later proved to be inaccurate as executive producer Dan Suarez revealed before the game's release that "There's no campaign co-op this year." Instead, the developers created a Co-Op zombie mode in which players and their friends can fight together against the living dead.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your console. Press eject to open up the tray.

    • 2

Remove anything that's in the tray. Insert "Call of Duty: Black Ops." Close the tray by pressing eject again.

    • 3

Wait for the game to boot up. Select "Co-Op" from the main menu.

    • 4

Select "Zombie Mode" from the list of options. Wait for your system to get online if it hasn't already.
