How to Improve Your Accuracy in an FPS on a PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 offers a variety of games in every genre. One particularly common one is the FPS, or "first-person shooter." Games like these include the "Call of Duty" and "Medal of Honor" franchises. You view the environment through the eyes of your character, while using various weapons to eliminate enemies. While playing single player against the computer is easy, taking on other people online requires much more skill. If you are new to FPS games, it is advisable to improve your skill for single and multiplayer modes. While the PS3 differs from other consoles in terms of controller design, the strategies for improving play apply to any game system.

  Shoot in front of the target. Unless your target is stationary, keeping a moving target in your reticule is extremely difficult and inefficient.
