Instructions
Insert PlayStation 3 games other than "TimeShift" into your console. If the problem persists across all games, it is a problem with your PlayStation 3 and it will require repair. On the other hand, if other discs work fine, the problem is with your "TimeShift" disc.
Clean the back of the "TimeShift" disc with a lint-free cloth. Any smudges on the back of the disc can cause it to malfunction. If your disc has a scratch, you must replace it as scratches can make discs unplayable.
Delete all "TimeShift" data from your PlayStation 3. You can find the data under the "Game" tab on your PlayStation 3's main menu.
Restore your PlayStation 3's default settings by selecting "Settings," followed by "System Settings" and "Restore Default Settings" on your PlayStation 3's main menu. All settings, such as video or audio settings, will restore to default.
Insert "TimeShift" into a different PlayStation 3, if applicable. If the problem persists, you may wish to purchase a new "TimeShift" disc.
