How to Control the Parachute on Grand Theft Auto: Ballad of Gay Tony With PS3 Game Controls

"Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City" offers a unique adventure with an episode called "The Ballad of Gay Tony." The adventure consists of you parachuting out or off of different objects and directing yourself to the ground or onto another building. The controls for the parachute are intuitive and give you more independence than merely falling through the sky and turning.

Instructions

  Hold the "Left" and "Right" triggers to put the parachute on while in the aerial vehicle.

  Press the "Left" analog stick toward where you want to jump out of the vehicle into the air and press the "Triangle" button to jump out.

  Press the "X" button to open the chute while falling through the air.

  Use the "Left" and "Right" triggers to move left and right while in the air. To descend to the ground quicker, hold one of the triggers in and press the "Left" analog stick in the direction of whichever trigger you are pressing.

  Slow your descent as you land to prevent injury by releasing all the buttons.
