How to Export Rockband to PS3

"Rock Band" Export

  Turn on the PlayStation 3 console and insert the "Rock Band" game disc.

  Login to your user account and launch "Rock Band" from the home screen.

  Select "Options" from the "Rock Band" main menu.

  Select "Export Songs."

  Select "Purchase License." The PlayStation Store page for the export license will appear.

  Purchase the export key. After it downloads, exit the PlayStation Store. The "Rock Band" export menu will appear.

  Select "Continue." The export license will install. "Rock Band" tracks will now be enabled in "Rock Band 2" and "Rock Band 3."

"Rock Band 2" and "Lego Rock Band" Export

  Open the "Rock Band 2" or "Lego Rock Band" export-key webpage in your browser.

  In the first row of boxes, enter the 16-digit code located on the inside cover of your game manual. For "Lego Rock Band," select "PS3 US" in the top panel.

  In the bottom box, enter your e-mail address. A copy of the download token will be sent to this address.

  Click "Get Token." A 12-digit code will appear.

  Turn your PS3 console on and insert your "Rock Band 3" game disc.

  Login to your user account and launch "Rock Band 3" from the home screen.

  Select "Get More Songs" in the "Rock Band 3" main menu.

  Select "Redeem Code."

  Enter the 12-digit token code that was given to you in step four. The PlayStation Store export-key page will appear.

  Purchase the export key and wait until the download has completed before exiting the PlayStation Store. The "Rock Band 2" or "Lego Rock Band" tracks will now be available in "Rock Band 3."

"Green Day: Rock Band" Export

  Turn the PS3 on and insert the "Green Day: Rock Band" game disc.

  Login to your user account and launch "Green Day: Rock Band" from the home screen.

  Select "Extras" from the "Green Day: Rock Band" main menu.

  Select "Export" from the "Extras" menu.

  Enter the 12-digit code found on the inside cover of the game manual in the box provided then click "OK." The PlayStation Store "Green Day: Rock Band" page will appear.

  Purchase the export key. After downloading is complete, exit the PlayStation Store. "Green Day: Rock Band" tracks will now be available to play in "Rock Band 3."
