How to Change Your Quick Inventory in Assassin's Creed II

"Assassin's Creed II" builds on the foundation created by the first title of the "Assassin's Creed" franchise by allowing you to upgrade weapons and purchase new ones as you progress through the story. As with the first game, your weapons use a quick inventory system in which each weapon is assigned to one of the buttons on your directional pad. When you acquire new weapons, you can equip them to replace your current quick inventory weapons at your villa.

Instructions

- 1
  Purchase new weapons from blacksmiths. Blacksmiths are located in every city and they are indicated on every map. There is also a blacksmith in your villa.

  Go to your villa. This becomes available after you complete Memory Sequence 3 and acts as your headquarters. Explore the villa until you find the weapons room on the lower level of the villa.

  Walk up to any of the weapons and press the "Interact" button. This varies by console. For example, press "Triangle" for PS3 or "Y" for Xbox 360.
- 4
  Select the weapon you wish to equip and it will replace the weapon you have in that weapon class' slot. Repeat for any weapon you wish to replace.
