How to Troubleshoot NBA 2K11 for the PS3

NBA2K11 for PlayStation 3 is a gaming disc that allows you to play with your favorite NBA basketball teams -- competing in single games, tournaments and an entire season. It features current elite players and several of the league's past star players. Your disc may freeze or crash if it's dirty or cracked. A few maintenance steps may improve your game's overall performance and possibly increase its lifespan.

Instructions

  Press and hold the "Power" button on your PS3 and then release it to reset your game, if your NBA2K11 disc is freezing or crashing.

  Remove the disc from the tray, if it's still freezing. Inspect it for dirt, smudges and fingerprints.

  Use the lint-free cloth to wipe the disc from the center outward. Don't use solvents, record cleaners or chemicals that may damage the disc. If it is cracked, your gaming console won't read it.

  Reinsert the disc into the disc tray, and load your game.
