How to Do a Cyclone on Monster Jam: Path of Destruction on PS3

"Monster Jam: Path of Destruction" is a monster truck racing game available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii consoles. An official United States Hot Rod Association monster truck series game, "Monster Jam" features a long list of fan-favorite trucks. In addition to racing, players can perform tricks in the game's freestyle mode. One popular trick is the cyclone, when a monster truck spins several doughnuts in rapid succession with the shortest possible turning radius. The cyclone is an effective way to earn experience points during a freestyle run.

     Locate an area on the track large enough to accommodate the spinning movement of your vehicle. The ideal area is flat and has few obstacles.

     Press the left analog stick to the left or right and hold it. For as long as you attempt the cyclone, you will need to hold the analog stick in one of the two directions.

   • 3

     Press and hold the "X" button along with "L1." This will trigger your truck's accelerator and put your vehicle into a tight spin. The cyclone will last as long as you hold down the accelerator and L1.
