How Do You Get to the Pack-a-Punch in Call of Duty: Black Ops Ascension?

The First Strike downloadable content that was released for "Call of Duty: Black Ops" featured several new maps for the multiplayer mode and a brand new map for the Nazi Zombies game mode. The new map, Ascension, pits four players against endless hordes of zombies as they attempt to survive. One perk that is necessary for a longer run in Ascension is the pack-a-punch machine, which changes your current weapon into a stronger version of itself. The machine is hidden, but by spending a few points and maneuvering around the level, the pack-a-punch can be unlocked as early as the eighth round.

Instructions

  Unlock all areas with Lunar Lander modules. There are three different locations. The first module is located in the center of the map. The second module is located in the swamp on the far west end up the map. The third module is at the highest point on the map, located above the power room.

  Ride all three Lunar Lander modules back to the centrifuge at the beginning of the level. A small meter depicting a rocket is located on the wall by the lander's dock. Once that meter is completely green, you have successfully ridden each of the Lunar Landers.

  Press the launch button located in the power room, directly to the right of the power switch. If done correctly, this should launch the large rocket ship that stands to the left of the launch button.

  Walk down to the bottom of the map where the rocket was located. You should find that the area is now unblocked. The pack-a-punch machine is located just to the right of the launchpad.
