How Can I Turn the Vibration Off on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for PS3?

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" for the PlayStation 3 is a third-person shooter video game based on the movie of the same name. The game contains two separate campaigns, one following the Autobots and one following the Decepticons. The game loosely follows the plot of the movie while also expanding on the plot with the addition of new missions and characters. The game includes a default feature that causes the controller to vibrate for explosions and attacks. However, the feature can be easily turned off to suit a player's preference.

     Select the "Game Options" menu from the main screen before beginning play or press the "Pause" button during gameplay and select the menu.

     Scroll to the "Vibration" option on the menu screen.

     Press the "X" button to select the "Vibration" option then press "Off."

     Back out of the menu screen to save the game settings. The controller vibration is no longer active.
