How to Unlock Suits in Iron Man 2

In "Iron Man 2," you play as Tony Stark, a billionaire inventor who controls powerful battle-armored suits. You must overcome all the game's missions to achieve your final goal: defeating the giant robot Ultimo. Along the way, you'll unlock additional Iron Man suits as a reward for overcoming the threats in the game's missions. Beating the story mode missions and the "One Man Army" missions will unlock every Iron Man suit in the game.

Instructions

  Complete "Mission 1: The Stark Archives" to unlock the Mark IV armor. Activate the auxiliary shield generator by flying to the console, which is indicated by a yellow arrow on your screen. Follow the tutorial guidelines in the game and fight the mechanical opponents until War Machine arrives. When all of the threats are defeated, the Mark VI armor will be unlocked.

  Fight through "Mission 2: Russia and Roxxon" to unlock the Iron Man Mark II Suit. Your main objective is to defeat Armiger, which can be accomplished by remaining mobile, dodging his most powerful lasers and firing both of your weapons. After Armiger is defeated, search through the warehouses for a generator to power the shield. Once this is obtained, fight off the large mechs and complete the mission.

  Finish "Mission 3: The Crimson Dynamo" to unlock the Classic Mark I Suit. Destroy all of the mechs at the beginning of the level, and then follow Jarvis' advice to contact Black Widow. Defeat another Armiger to reach Black Widow, and then destroy the Crimson Dynamo.

  Complete "Mission 8: Ultimo" to unlock the Ultimate Iron Man Suit. Alternate between War Machine outside of Ultimo and Iron Man inside of Ultimo. As War Machine, destroy Ultimo's armor by targeting the blue weak spots. As Iron Man, defeat Kearson DeWitt by circle strafing. Once DeWitt is defeated, you'll unlock the Ultimate Iron Man Suit.

  Complete the additional "One Man Army" missions that unlock after you complete the game's story mode to unlock additional outfits, including the Extremis, Classic, Classic Mark and Hulkbuster suits. In these missions, be as evasive as possible to avoid damage and shoot at the enemies at all times. Start fighting at the outer borders of the army and work your way towards the center to avoid being surrounded.

  Complete all of the story missions and the "One Man Army" missions to unlock the Silver Centurion Suit. This suit automatically unlocks once you have obtained all the other Iron Man suits. It has a classic, sleek design.
