"Rock Band" gives players the chance to step into the shoes of their favorite rock icons. The game allows players to simulate playing instruments, giving them the feeling they can jam with the best of them. Gamers can choose from a wide array of songs to play, but many of the best songs are unavailable until the players unlock them. However, cheat codes bypass the unlocking process, making the entire song selection immediately available. While this allows temporary gratification, many players will wish to remove the code and complete the game on their own.

Turn off your console. Don't worry about saving, because as soon as you engage the cheat, the save option gets disabled anyway.

Turn the console back on. Your file should restore to the way it was before you entered the cheat.

Complete the game without cheats to permanently unlock all the songs and get credit for your achievements.
