How to Edit Jerseys in Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

Few things in the video game world are as satisfying as building the perfect squad and leading your assembled team to greatness through the Master Leagues in "Pro Evolution Soccer." ProEvo, as it's commonly known, is a widely customizable game. You can create custom teams and custom players or rename existent teams and players through the game's editing interface. You can use the edit features to create custom jerseys and edit the jerseys already in the game.

Instructions

  Turn on your gaming system and load Pro Evolution Soccer 2010. The game was released for Wii, PS3, PS2 and XBox 360. Although the control instructions here are for the Playstation 3 version of the game, the only difference between platforms is the button needed to activate menu items.

  Press any button on your controller to begin the game. A warning appears about the autosave feature. Press "Close" to continue. Press down on the controller until "Edit" is selected and then press X to select it. Seven items appear on the edit screen menu: players, teams, stadium, league/cup, load, save and "To top menu." Select "Teams" and press X. Select "Edit team" and press X again.

  Select the team whose jersey you wish to edit from the list of national or club teams. Clubs from five leagues are sorted by league: Premier League, Ligue 1, Seria A, the Eredivisie and the Primera League. You can find teams outside of these divisions are in Other Leagues A, B and C. Select a team and press X. Choose "Uniform" from the submenu.

  Choose the jersey you wish to edit: the outfielders' first or second kit or the goalkeepers' kits. Select "Outfielders 1st" and press X. You can now edit the shirt, shorts, socks and the color of the captain's armband. Select "Shirt" and press X. Select "Shirt" again to choose from the different styles of shirts, which will be the basis of your custom jersey. Change the collar style and the color of each component of the shirt. Press "OK" when finished and then repeat the same process with the shorts and socks.

  Edit each of the jerseys -- outfielders 2nd and goalkeepers -- to your liking. The process is the same for each.

  Select "Kit Marking" from the Uniform edit screen to change the elements of the jerseys that aren't controlled by the other screens -- such as the way that names and numbers are displayed and whether the emblem of the team is displayed -- or to change or add a chest logo. With the PS3 and XBox, you can add your own photos for the logos. Press "OK" when finished and then "OK" again. Click "Save" to keep your edits.
