Turn on your computer and log in.
Insert a USB memory stick into an available USB port.
Open "My Computer."
Click the memory stick icon twice to open it.
Press "Start" and open your personal folder; it will be labeled with your log-in name (for example, "Jack").
Double-click the "My Music" icon.
Drag music files from the "My Music" folder into the memory stick folder by clicking the file, holding the left mouse button and dragging the file to the memory stick folder. Release the button to drop the file.
Locate the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the "System Icon" tray at the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
Click "Safely Remove Hardware." Select the name of the memory stick from the list of attached devices.
Remove the device when your computer confirms the stick has been safely ejected.
Turn on your PS3 and log in.
Insert the memory stick into an available USB port on the PS3 game console.
Scroll down the main menu to locate "Music."
Open the "Music" menu and click on the memory stick by name.
Copy songs to your PS3 by pressing the triangle menu button and selecting "Copy."
