How to Beat Wesker on Resident Evil 5 for PS3

Albert Wesker is the main antagonist in the "Resident Evil" series. He has appeared in more entries of the series than any other character. He has superhuman capabilities due to the experimental virus he has been infected with. He is nearly immune to damage from most weapons in the game. Beating him requires going through a variety of steps to give yourself an advantage.

Instructions

- 1
  Avoid walking within arm's reach of Wesker. His melee attacks do large amounts of damage. He does have a gun, but his shots are avoided through a quick time event. A button icon appears on the screen anytime he fires his gun. Press the indicated button before it disappears to dodge his shot automatically.

  Press the light switches in the northeast, southeast and southwest corners to turn off the lights. Wesker is unable to locate you in the dark.

  Pick up the rocket launcher in the northeast corner of the room. This is the only weapon that does significant damage against Wesker.

  Run into one of the dark areas. Wesker follows you, but is unable to locate you to attack. He also cannot dodge your shots when you are in the dark. This is important because Wesker can dodge your shots if you are standing in the light.

  Fire the rocket launcher at him. A cut scene plays after he is shot twice with the rocket launcher. This starts the second part of the fight. Wesker begins to chase Sheva at this point.

  Shoot Wesker until another cut scene begins.
- 7
  Hit the boulder that appears in the cut scene to push it in the lava.
- 8
  Fire at the orange spots on Wesker's back and chest to damage him. You finally beat Wesker once the next cut scene begins to play.
