How to Unlock the Figurines in Metal Gear Solid 4

"Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" for the PlayStation 3 is a stealth-action game set in the future. As Solid Snake, the game's protagonist, you must fight five main bosses: FROG soldiers, Laughing Octopus, Raging Raven, Crying Wolf and Screaming Mantis. To obtain a figurine, you must defeat a boss in its beast form with a non-leathal weapon. Unlocking all five figurines is the only way to get the powerful solar gun.

Instructions

  Press "L2" to bring up the weapons menu. Select the "None" option to use either Snake's CQC (close quarters combat) or the MK.22.

  Defeat a boss with punches and kicks while it is in its beast form, except for the FROG soldiers. You must not kill a single FROG soldier during the encounter; instead, allow the FOX team to kill the soldiers.

  Locate the statue location after the boss transforms into its beauty form (again except for the FROG soldiers). Here are the five statue locations: the FROG soldier statue is located in the Middle East Palace garage area in act one; the Laughing Octopus doll is located at the top-right of the building during the boss fight; the Raging Raven statue is located on the top floor; the Crying Wolf statue is on the side of the building where the beast dies; and the Screaming Mantis statue is located outside the door where the players started.
