How to Kill the Giant Women in Lost Planet

Unlike Lost Planet 1, in Lost Planet 2 you can traverse the post apocalyptic world with a group of up to three friends using the multi-player option. Your customized Lost Planet 2 character can make much quicker work of the giant women alien queens (also known as queen Gorecryatis or Cryastis in the Lost Planet universe), if you're able to enlist the help of friends; however the giant female, egg-laying aliens are defeatable even if your character must go it alone.

Instructions

- 1
  Dodge left or right to avoid a queen's barrage of ice rocks. Position yourself close to that queen to avoid these attacks completely, but dodge any swipes or slams from her giant, powerful legs.

  Shoot at the icicles above her head to quickly knock out some of her health, but wait until the queen moves beneath an icicle or they won't injure her.

  Aim and fire any weapons, favoring your Gatling gun, at the orange spots on your enemy queen's legs until she falls stunned onto the floor; you may find her legs easier to hit if you resign yourself to aiming at an angle, since you're so close to your target.

  Equip and fire at the queen's head with your Gatling gun or rocket launcher; her head contains her weak spot, which is marked by an oval; the oval represents her thermal energy deposit. Use your shotgun if you're out of Gatling or rocket launcher ammunition.
- 5
  Remove her legs one by one and further deplete her health using the same techniques until you've vanquished that queen.
