How Do I Play M-Rated Games on a PS3 With Parental Controls?

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) game console features a parental control that can help parents block violent and adult-oriented video games from being played. Instead of blocking specific game ratings, such as "Teen" (T), "Mature" (M) or "Adult" (A), you must set a numbered level of gameplay allowance ranging from 1 to 12. In order to turn off the parental control feature so that you can play an M-rated game, you must know the password that is set up, or you must enter the PS3's default password.
