How to Complete Level 1 in God of War: Blades of Chaos

̶0;God of War̶1; is a 2005 action adventure game on PlayStation 2. The player assumes the role of Kratos, a former Spartan captain, on a quest to defeat Ares, the god of war. The player̵7;s initial weapons are the Blades of Chaos, which were given to Kratos by Ares when Kratos was his servant. Upgrading the Blades of Chaos will unlock new moves, and for that players need to find and use the red orbs found throughout the game.

Instructions

- 1
  Press "Square," "Square" and "Triangle" to kill the early in-game enemies with the "Plumes of Prometheus" combo attack. The enemies will drop red orbs when they die. Destroying objects, such as vases, and opening red colored chests will also cause red orbs to appear.

  Collect red orbs until the number in the top left corner of the screen reaches "5." This indicates the player has 1,500 red orbs, the quantity needed to complete this level.

  Press the ̶0;Start̶1; button on the controller. The pause menu will appear. Select the ̶0;Power Up̶1; option from the pause menu. A list of all the weapons and magic Kratos can upgrade will be displayed. Select "Blades of Chaos."

  Hold down the ̶0;X̶1; button on the controller until the game confirms the upgrade is completed. This will complete level one of the Blade of Chaos and upgrade the weapon to level two.
