How to Perform a Wheelie on Need for Speed: ProStreet

"Need For Speed: ProStreet" is a video game racing title released in Fall 2007 for the PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo's Wii and other platforms. In one event in the game, there is a wheelie competition where the goal is to "wheelie" your car for as long as possible. Performing this trick is relatively easy as long as you have the proper car and timing. Properly perform the wheelie and blow past the competition.

Instructions

  Select a car for the competition with a minimum of a Level 3 suspension, engine, drive train, forced induction and nitrous. It must also have at least Level 2 brakes and tires. Popular car models for performing the wheelie include the 500 HP Chevelle, Dodge Charger and Honda.

  Enter the wheelie competition, and pay close attention to the lights signaling when to start. As soon as the light turns green, quickly press and hold the gas button. For the PS3 the gas button is "R2;" for the XBox 360, it's the Right Trigger; and the Wii uses the "A" button.

  Use your nitrous for added power once the car reaches second gear. The nitrous will launch the front of the car higher into the air and extend the length of your wheelie.
