How to Get an Account to Play PS3 Online

PlayStation 3, or PS3, is the third edition of the popular PlayStation gaming consoles developed by Sony. Users can connect to the Internet and play games with other PS3 users from around the world. To start playing games against others online, you must create a PS3 account and have a game disc that has online components. If there is no account currently registered to your PS3, you will need to create a Master account. A Master account requires that the registrant be at least 18. Some younger users may create additional Sub accounts under the original Master Account following the same instructions, but an email will be sent to the Master account holder to get permission for any sub accounts created.
