"Saints Row 2" was released in 2008 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It was also released for Microsoft Windows that same year. The third-person shooter allows players to take control of a disbanded gang and rule the streets of a fictional city. Players can take part in a lot of what could be called "thug-like" tasks. One of those tasks is mugging fellow citizens walking the streets. In the game, you can do this task without harming the pedestrian.

Pick a person to mug, then approach them. Get out any gun in your arsenal.

Step in front of the pedestrian. Aim the gun at the person using the "Fine Aim" mode featured in the game.

Give the pedestrian a couple seconds. If done correctly, the virtual character will run away while dropping items for you to pick up.
