How to Download SOCOM Confrontation Patches to the PS3

SOCOM: Confrontation is a first-person shooter with strategic elements. You control an individual soldier in numerous armed conflicts, and also participate as a member of a team. You must coordinate your activities with theirs, and defeat the enemy using collaboration. There are several bugs in the original version of the Playstation 3 game, which have been fixed by a number of patches. New patches also tweak and introduce fresh gameplay elements, so you'll want to download all of them.

     Ensure that your PS3 is connected to the Internet. If you have a wireless router, your PS3 will automatically detect and use it. If you use Ethernet, connect your cord to the Ethernet port in the back of your PS3.

     Insert SOCOM into your PS3 and start the game.

     Confirm that you want to download the latest patch when it asks. As long as your PS3 is connected to the Internet, it will automatically detect new patches for your games.
