Instructions

    • 1

Disconnect the cymbal from the Guitar Hero World Tour drum set. Turn the cymbal upside down and find the four screws. Remove them with a Phillips head screwdriver. Open the cymbal.

    • 2

Find the red and black wires attached to the green computer chip and white circle with a yellow rim. Slowly tug on each wire to see if either is loose.

    • 3

Use the scraping tool to take off the rubber glue that holds the loose wire. After clearing the glue you will find the original solder spot.

    • 4

Cut about 1/8th inch off each end of the wire. Apply solder and flux when necessary to reconnect the white sensor. Wait about three to five minutes for the solder to cool.

    • 5

Close the cymbal and screw back in the four screws. Connect the cymbal to the Guitar Hero World Tour drum set. Start the game.

    • 6

Go to the practice mode from the main menu. Pick any song and test out the cymbal. If the problem reoccurs redo the previous steps.
