"Where the Wild Things Are"
Based on the popular children's book and feature length movie, "Where the Wild Things Are" is also a PS3 video game that children will enjoy. Whether or not your kids have read the original book, they will still enjoy the colorful graphics and the engaging storyline. Your children control the main character, Max, and must get help from the Wild Things to make it through the storyline and grand adventure that awaits them. Children will not only make the character run and climb to reach new places, but they'll also have to solve puzzles to make it through the level and continue on with the story. "Little Big Planet"
"Little Big Planet" will keep kids entertained with a vibrant and detailed world and many puzzles to overcome as they progress through the level. A Game of the Year edition is available and offers over 50 levels to play through along with new costumes. Both online and offline modes exist, though parents should monitor their children if they use online mode. Children will enjoy changing their characters appearance and exploring the bizarre worlds that are enjoyable enough for older players but still easy enough for younger children to complete. This game is rated E for Everyone.
"Katamari Forever"
Players new to the "Katamari" series and those who are already fans will enjoy the additions made to "Katamari Forever." Children play as the Prince and must roll around a ball to collect other items. Roll the ball bigger and bigger to pick up larger items. Collect everything before the time runs out. Children will enjoy the bright colors and silly storyline. The controls are easy to master and the game takes advantage of the Sixaxis control, requiring players to move the PS3 controller itself to make the Prince hop. New graphics and accessories make this a hit with fans of the older "Katamari" games. "Katamari Forever" is rated E for everyone.
