How to Defeat New Goblin on Spiderman 3 PS3

"Spider-Man 3" is a video game for the PlayStation 3 based on the hit movie with the same title. In "Spider-Man 3," players take on the role of the web-slinging superhero as he battles a series of villains who are bent on taking over the city and exacting revenge on him for slights against them. The New Goblin bears a personal grudge against Spider-Man, believing that he killed the Green Goblin, and he will use the knowledge of the hero's secret identity to help overcome the web-slinger.

Instructions

  Use your Spider Sense. Hold the left trigger to enable this power so that you can better control the fight on New Goblin's glider. With Spider Sense active, you will be able to use the analog stick to deftly avoid his attacks so that you can get your own punches to land.

  Punch the New Goblin until he comes down to earth. Keep holding the left trigger and use the "X," "B" and "Y" buttons to pummel the New Goblin until he gets lower.

  Dodge his glider attacks. New Goblin will drop Spider-Man and then swoop in from a random angle on the screen. Use Spider Sense and the analog stick to dodge as the New Goblin approaches. This will save you from most of his damage and let you get the drop on him.

  Fight with basic combos. Once you have dodged the initial attack, launch a flurry of basic attacks. Tap the "X" button repeatedly to build a massive combination strike and quickly tear apart New Goblin's health bar.

  Change rooftops after each combo. Once your combo chain has completed, swing to a new rooftop to re-engage the Goblin. You can repeat this process to defeat the New Goblin and continue in your mission to free the city.
