How to Unlock Muscle Cars on Midnight Club Los Angeles

Earn a reputation by completing various missions. To unlock the muscle cars (group 2), you must initially gain the rank of Student Driver with 2000 reputation points. You will gain the most points by completing the main story missions within the game. Side missions will earn you points, but not as many per objective.

Purchase lower-quality muscle cars from the garage. Once you've unlocked the muscle cars by gaining the rank of Student Driver (2000 reputation points), you can purchase some of the muscle cars from the garage. After you purchase them, add on upgrades to increase their performance. Level 1 performance upgrades will be available when you reach the rank of Driver with 5600 reputation points.

Win higher level cars by completing story missions. You have the option of purchasing most of the available cars from the garage or you can save your money and win the cars by completing missions. For example, you can win the 1979 Pontiac Firebird by beating Chung Hee in the mission "Racin' for Pinks" or you can pay $16,000 to purchase it.

Unlock better cars by increasing your rank. Additional cars will become unlocked as you increase in rank. Group 3 muscle cars become available when you reach the rank of Racer at 8060 reputation points. Continue to play story missions to increase your reputation and build your rank, giving you access to better cars and upgrades.

Achieve the Champion Rank for Group 4 muscle cars. When you achieve the rank of Champion at 16500 reputation points, the final group of muscle cars becomes available for purchase. Group 4 consists of two cars; the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the 2008 Saleen S302 Extreme. These cars cost $65,000 and $100,000 respectively to purchase from the garage.
