Instructions

    • 1

Create a wireless Internet connection on your PSP by selecting "Network Settings" on the far left drop-down menu on the PSP's main menu screen (XMB), then clicking the "X" button on "Infrastructure Mode." Follow the on-screen instructions to create and name your connection, and enter the WEP security key, if applicable.

    • 2

Enable the PSP's Flash Player by navigating to the "Internet Browser" option on the far right of the XMB menu, then clicking "X." View the browser menu by pressing the triangle button, then select "Tools," followed by "Settings" and "View Settings." You will see an option entitled "Flash." Select this option and switch it to "On." For the older PSP 1001 model, you can use the far left drop-down menu on the XMB screen and select "Settings," "System Settings" and "Enable Flash Player."

    • 3

Insert a Memory Stick Duo into the dedicated port on your PSP, located at the bottom left of the console. This memory will be used to store Flash content and can also be used to store Flash games for offline playing.

    • 4

Play Flash games online by navigating to the web page offering the game you wish to play. You can do this using the navigation bar and entering the URL manually using the PSP's text-entry interface, or you can type the name of the Flash game into the search engine of your choice on your PSP's browser.

    • 5

Save downloaded Flash games to your PSP to play later by connecting your PSP to your PC using the USB cable. From the far left drop-down menu, select "USB Connection" mode, then locate your PSP's removable media directory on your computer's main drive. Create a folder named "FLASH" on the root of your PSP's directory, and transfer any .swf extension Flash game files to your PSP. Disconnect your PSP from your PC and remove it from USB mode. To play stored Flash games, open the PSP's web browser and enter "file:/flash/" followed by the file name and the extension .swf into the navigation bar.
