How to Get All the Mini Games in Patapon 2

"Patapon 2" is a strategy game for the PSP whose complexity is masked by a deceptive veneer of cuteness. In "Patapon 2," players have a wide array of units at their command, from the tribal Patapons to the mech-like Robopons and spell-slinging Mahopons. Moreover, you can play seven rhythm-based minigames in order to acquire more materials for your army. These minigames are unlocked by collecting caps from certain locations and turning these caps over to Mater, the tree of life.

Instructions

  Unlock the Tree Minigame with the cap located in the Juju Jungle Course. You can find this cap after destroying all of the structures in your path. The rewards you can earn by playing this game include bones, fangs, hides, woods and meats.

  Unlock the Flower Minigame with the cap earned by defeating or teetering Centura once she reaches her third level. You can earn vegetables by playing this minigame.

  Unlock the Mountain Minigame with the cap earned after completing the Nanjaro Hill Course. You can earn rock tears, which are essentially ores, by playing this game.

  Unlock the Cooking Minigame with the cap earned after defeating the level three Firebird Fenicchi. Use this minigame to acquire stews.

  Unlock the Smithing Minigame with the cap acquired by defeating the level three Ancient Guardian Manboroth. Use this minigame to acquire alloys or, if you have any Adamanman, you can offer it during the minigame to acquire a Magic Rune weapon, the most powerful weapon in "Patapon 2."

  Unlock the Alchemy Minigame with the cap earned by teetering the level three Huge Manboth. Use this minigame to acquire liquids.
