The PSP is a handheld gaming device produced by Sony that is capable of doing far more than just playing games. It also has the ability to play music and certain video formats as well. With all this going for it, it should come as no surprise that you can hook up the PSP to a TV via standard red-yellow-white audio/video (AV) cables. One caveat, however: the games themselves cannot be played on a TV this way, as the standard AV format does not transfer the video from games. You can, however, view movies on a TV via the AV cables.
