Cheat Statue

• The Cheat Statue is an object in The Sims 2: Pets that is used to activate or deactivate any other cheats the player enters into the game. This statue is located in the town square in the PSP version of the game. You must enter the code to spawn it in your house. You will then be able to see and interact with it in the town square. The code to spawn the Cheat Statue is L, L, R, X, X, Up.

$10,000 Code

• The $10,000 code will enable the option to receive that much money from the Cheat Statue. The cheat code only enables the option. You still must examine the statue after entering the code to receive this money. The $10,000 code is Triangle, Up, Left, Down, Right.

Pet Skill Points Code

• Pets in The Sims 2: Pets have their own skill points. The behavior and career progress for the pet are dependent on the skill points he or she has. You can gain extra skill points by examining the Cheat Statue after entering Triangle, Circle, X, Square, L, R on your PSP. You will be able to allocate the new skill points by examining your pet.

Advance Time Code

• One of the codes can be used to advance time forward by six hours by examining the Cheat Statue. This is useful if you do not want to wait for Sims to return home from work at the normal game speed. The cheat code to advance time forward is Up, Left, Down, Right, R.

Pet Jobs

• Pets in The Sims 2: Pets can have jobs like human Sims. This can provide a significant extra source of income for the player. There are three career paths, Security, Service and ShowBiz, which can be accessed by both cats and dogs. Cats will always make more money than dogs, no matter what job or promotion level he or she is at. The best choice for money earned is a Cat in the ShowBiz career path. The cat will eventually earn $847 per day, which is more than most human Sims.
