Easily Locate Monsters
Although you play the role of an expert monster hunter, monsters can sometimes be hard to find in these expansive 3D environments. If you need a little help locating a monster, look to the sky and find the hot air balloon. While facing the balloon, press "Start" and choose the "Wave" gesture. While you are waving at the hot air balloon the monster's location will be displayed for a short time on the game map.
Climb Vines Faster
Vines can be climbed to gain access to higher areas, but vine climbing is typically quite slow. Speed it up by holding the "R" button as you climb.
Prolonged Demonize Combo
Dual-blade hunters can use Mega Juice to prolong their Demonize combo even longer than normal. Drink the Mega Juice and then enter into your Demonize combo. Thanks to the Mega Juice your Stamina won't decrease right away, allowing you to take advantage of a longer combo.
Easily Duplicate Items
Items can be duplicated rather easily in "Monster Hunter Freedom 2" as long as they can be traded and aren't too rare. Give all of the items you want to duplicate to a friend, hit home and exit without saving your game. All of your items will be back in your box upon your return and you can collect your original items from your friend. Sell all of these extra items for easy money and continue duplicating items until you have as much money as you need.
10 Heavy Armor Spheres
Heavy armor spheres are quite hard to find in "Monster Hunter Freedom 2," so you'll want to collect every one you come across. You can gain 10 heavy armor spheres at once, however, by doing all of the level three through eight Guild quests, including the Fatalis quest. Talk to the Guild Master afterwards and she will reward you with 10 heavy armor spheres.
