How to Type in Codes on Carbon Own the City for PSP

Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City is a racing game that was released for the PSP in 2006. Unlike other versions of the game, the cheat codes do not work on the PSP version; an Action Replay must be used to enter cheats into the game. The Action Replay for PSP allows codes to be entered by selecting the code from a list. This can be done at any time during the game once the Action Replay is enabled.

Action Replay battery enabler for PSP
Action Replay memory card

Instructions

  Remove the battery from the PSP.

  Insert the battery into the slot on the Action Replay battery enabler.

  Press the button on the battery enabler. The left light should be lit.

  Remove the battery from the battery enabler. Place it back into the PSP slot.

  Insert the Action Replay memory card into the slot on the PSP.

  Turn on your PSP and wait for Action Replay to boot up.

  Insert the Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City UMD when prompted.

  Press the "Start" button to start the game.

  Press the "Home" + "R" buttons while playing the game to bring up the different cheat codes for the game.

  Enter the code you want to use by highlighting it and pressing the "X" button.

  Press the "Home" button to return to the game. The cheat code will go into effect immediately.
