How to Buy Items for the House in Sims 2 for PSP

̶0;The Sims 2̶1; on PSP takes the open world aspect of the Sims franchise and focuses into an adventure game. After creating your own character, you'll become embroiled in the secrets and lives of your neighbors as you meet new people and solve ongoing mysteries. Sims fans can still add a personal touch to their houses by purchasing items and placing them around their digital abodes. The items can then be used to entertain, comfort or educate your character as he navigates his new neighborhood.

Instructions

  Begin a new game or continue your existing game of "The Sims 2" on PSP.

  Control your Sim using the control pad on your PSP. Direct him over to the phone in your house. Press ̶0;X̶1; when you are near the phone to bring up the call menu.

  Choose ̶0;Buy Mode̶1; from the phone menu to bring up a list of items for your home.

  Scroll through the items using your directional pad. Items in this menu range from toilets and couches, to computers and posters. Listed next to each item will be the price. You cannot purchase an item if you do not have the money to pay for it.

  Press ̶0;X̶1; to purchase an item for your house. You will given a view of your house. Move around with the direction bad and use the "L" and "R" buttons to rotate the camera.

  Position your item into your desired location and press ̶0;X.̶1; Press ̶0;Triangle̶1; to leave the buy menu and return to the game. You can now interact with your newly purchased item.
