Cheat Mode
To enter cheat codes, you must first be in cheat mode. To enter cheat mode on a PSP, simply pause game play, go to the options menu, and enter the cheat code. Press enter to accept the cheat, and the cheat code will now be active and available for use. Use the cheats as often as you like, as there are no penalties for use.
Level Select
Levels must be played in order, as previous levels are unlocked during normal game play. By entering cheat code "FREEDOM" you can unlock all levels, allowing you to play in the order you wish, without having to meet any previous requirements.
Start With Extra Lives
Normal game play allows you to start with only a few lives, but by entering cheat code "HELPME" at the beginning of game play, you will automatically begin the game with 15 lives, allowing you to complete missions with ease.
Entering cheat code "WEAKLING" at the beginning of game play will allow you to start with 55 extra lives, which should allow you advance very far in the game without fear of mission failure.
Extra Coins
Coins are collected throughout each mission during normal game play. By entering cheat code "RICHMAN" you will automatically be awarded 10 additional coins. Entering cheat code "WELLRICH" will allow you to begin game play with an additional 50 coins, which would otherwise take a significant amount of time to build up.
No Barrels
Donkey Kong barrels typically roll around throughout the board. These large barrels can be problematic, as they move quickly and are sometimes hard to maneuver around. One hit from a barrel can take your life and cause you to start the mission over from the beginning. Entering cheat code "WELLARD" will remove DK barrels during game play, while entering cheat code "ROCKARD" will eliminate both DK half barrels, as well as DK full-size barrels during game play.
