How Do I Download Video to My PSP?

Playstation Portables (PSPs) are small gaming stations that can be used for much more than playing video games. The Playstation Portable is commonly used to store and listen to mp3 files, is rigged into a car's stereo system to act as an mp3 player, and with a wireless Internet connection can even be used for browsing. The Playstation Portable can even be used to watch television shows and movies.

Things You'll Need

Computer
PSP to computer USB cable
Video files in mp4 format
Memory stick for the PSP with at least 512 mb of memory

  Turn off the PSP and connect it to your computer with the USB cable.

  Turn on the PSP and go into "Settings." From "Settings," have your PSP sync with the computer.

  Go into "My Computer" on your computer. If the PSP is successfully connected to the computer, you will see another device in the My Computer folder.

  Go into the PSP memory card folder and open the folder labeled PSP. Create a new folder and name it "MP_ROOT". Create another folder called "100mnv01".

  Save your movies in the 100mnv01 folder. Make sure they are in mp4 format or they will not be viewable on the PSP. You can now watch your movies by selecting the 100mnv01 folder from the PSP menu.
