The Sony PlayStation Portable is a handheld gaming device that doubles as a portable media player. Cheat codes, which vary based on the game being played, are usually activated by a combination of key strokes.

      Enter the cheat code by pushing buttons on the keypad in the correct order. Some cheat codes must be entered at a certain time--at the start menu or after pressing pause, for example. Other cheat codes can be entered at any time, including during game play.
