How to Install Media Manager for PSP

The media manager for the PSP allows you to use the full capacity of your console. Not just for games, the PSP is a complete entertainment unit that allows you to listen to music, watch movies and share photos. The media manager makes it even easier to use allowing you to move things around just by dragging and dropping the files. You can transfer files between your PSP device and your computer or between other Sony products.

Instructions

  Go to the Sony website to download the software. Go to www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/mediamanager.

  Install Media Manager. Once it is downloaded, just double-click on the application. It will ask you if you wish to install it. Click "Next." It will then ask you for the language that you want. Select the appropriate one and click "OK." It will then tell you that the following components are required for installation: Adobe Flash Player, Microsoft Visual C++, PlayStation Store File Downloader, PlayStation Store for Media Manager.

  Click "Install" and it will begin installing all of the necessary software. After it has finished, click "OK" and the installation will complete. After these software have installed, it will begin installing the Media Manager. Click on "Next." Then it will ask you if you agree to the terms of use. If you do, click on the "Agree" box and click "Next." It will ask you if you'd like to start the application after the installation. If you would, put a check in that box and click "Next." The installation will take about 2 to 3 minutes to complete.

  Install from a CD. You can also install the application from CD by ordering it from the Sony website. Put the CD in the CD rom drive of your computer. The installation will begin to automatically run if autoplay is activated. If it isn't, then you will need to double-click on the CD, and the installation process will begin. Follow the instructions above.
